wee Publish is an independent children's book publisher creating beautiful, thoughtfully made stories rooted in nature, wonder, whimsy, mystery, family, and the extraordinary way children see the world.

Our books are made to invite curiosity, nurture imagination, and give children somewhere wonderful to wander—then return to again and again.

The stories we publish

We are drawn to books with a strong sense of place and an abiding connection to the natural world: wildflowers and woods, gardens and fields, small creatures, changing seasons, hidden places, and the discoveries waiting just outside the door.

Some of our stories are lyrical. Some are funny, mysterious, adventurous, or quietly thoughtful. What connects them is a sense of wonder—and a belief that children's books can be beautiful, intelligent, imaginative, and deeply joyful.

We care about the book as an object as much as the story it holds: beautiful illustration, thoughtful language, considered typography, paper, color, and all the small details that make a child want to pick up a book again.

We want to publish books children remember—and books families are reluctant to part with when the children who loved them aren't so wee anymore.
