WHAT WE’RE DRAWN TO
We’re interested in children’s work that can be lyrical, funny, mysterious, adventurous, tender, surprising, nature-rooted, or wonderfully strange. We look for strong storytelling, memorable characters, visual imagination, emotional intelligence, and curiosity—work that respects children as thoughtful readers. A project needn’t contain every one of these qualities; what matters is that it feels alive with its own particular reason for being.
AUTHORS
Stories that invite a child in.
We value distinctive voices, memorable storytelling, language that is pleasurable to read aloud, and stories that leave room for a child’s own imagination. We’re drawn to manuscripts that trust their young readers and make each page feel worth returning to.

We’re interested in artists with an identifiable visual voice, strong storytelling instincts, expressive character work, and the ability to create a world that feels cohesive and alive. Traditional and digital approaches are equally welcome; the work itself is what matters.
